extemporal meetups 2020-2023

Extemporal (formerly circuitBoard) started as a series of meetups at Boulder Public Library in early 2020 to find people in Boulder who were willing to exchange their DIY projects to work on another’s as chain repurposing. After two meetups, COVID lockdowns were in place, and I moved the meetups online for 18 months. Then, from 2022-2023, Extemporal meetups were held in-person across Denver. We met regularly from rooftops to libraries to warehouses to share our equipment and creations in electronics, synthesizers, and media art.
